June on the Farm

Dear friends & family,
It is hard to believe that spring lambing season is already behind us, and we are coasting into summer.  It is haying season once again, and there is much wonderful produce in the garden.

Spring lambs remind us how the Lord Jesus is our Great Shepherd and the Lamb of God.  Gently He guides us, and lovingly He laid His life down for our behalf, on the cross altar.

Drop by for a visit if you are out this way.  The Bible garden is in full bloom, the farm museum has had a face lift, and  there is always a spinning project on the wheel.
Barn Annual Barn Sale for Missions
Thurs, Fri & Sat June 6, 7, 8
7:00 am - 6:00 pm

It is that time of the year again  -  huge "garage sale" inside our barn - rain or shine.  100% of the proceeds from the sale benefit missions (local, national & international).

Thank you to all of the faithful families that make this possible through contributions, volunteering, and stopping in to pick out a "great find."

Once again it is a barn full  of housewares, clothing, garden items, farm items, and so much more.  Here is a link to our facebook page for more speific information.

Professional videographer Shaun Hill dropped by the farm for a visit recently, and produced a beautifully artistic viedo featuring our woolly friends, farm activieis and happenings.  Enjoy a few minutes of respite on the farm, right from your armchair.

Spin-n-Knit-in
Saturday June 8th from 1:00 - 4:00

Time again for the monthly 2nd Saturday event.

Bring your knitting, crocheting, weaving, spinning or just bring yourself and come enjoy time spent in the circle.

Bring a snack  to share,if you would like.

This is a great time to bring that project you need help with, the wheel that is not flying straight, or simply come for a respite.

Wholesome conversation with folks that enjoy the simple things in life.
Thank you for your faithful service to The Great Shepherd and His flock.  We are truly blessed to labor the field,  and feed in His pastures with each of you.  May His blessings reign down in your lives.
Shepherding the Flock,
