SUD 101: Introductory Training for Understanding
and Treating Substance Use Disorders
PCSS has developed an overview on identifying and treating substance use disorders so that administrative and clinical staff in your practice can gain a better understanding of substance use disorders and the patients you treat. We recommend all staff in a clinical setting –– from the front desk, administrators, and even senior leadership –– take this course. With research showing that 20 percent of the general population in a healthcare setting have a substance use disorder, we all need to be better educated.
