Basics of a Good Road
A CT Road Master Program REQUIRED Workshop
Roads in Connecticut are handling more and more traffic and road budgets are shrinking. To make the most of what we have, we need to understand what is necessary to keep good roads in good shape and how to fix those roads that have seen better days.
This workshop focuses on what Connecticut's road crews can do to maintain their road systems, identify distresses and keep their roads in the best shape possible.
Who Should Attend

This program is designed for those who have responsibility for the construction and maintenance of local roads.  Highway Superintendents, Road Foremen, Crew Leaders, Directors of Public Works and Town Engineers are encouraged to attend.
Course Instructor

Paul Brown is President of RoadTech, Inc., a consulting company specializing in road management and pavement maintenance issues. Paul has been teaching road building and maintenance classes for LTAP centers around the country for several years and has been in the construction industry since 1979.
