Be a part of our Storybook Village...
Once Upon a Time, the Coalition hosted their third annual PreK 5K: Readiness Run through the Fairy Tale Forest of Boyd Hill Nature Preserve.  Characters came from far and wide across Pinellas County and were transported into a whimsical world of literacy classics within Storybook Village.

The Coalition is looking to bring this story to life on April 14th, and we need your help!   We are asking  child care providers across Pinellas County to participate in the Storybook Village portion of our event , which will  be the focal area at the end of the run.  Each center will pick a favorite children's book that they will represent in  a 10x10 area within the "village", and will be in charge of decorating the space, in addition to providing games and activities for the children that correlate with their chosen book.

Participation in Storybook Village is free, and is not only a wonderful marketing opportunity, but a great way to engage the community on the benefits, successes and draws of your school...and it's FUN!  We encourage all of our providers to be creative--dress up, use costumes, have read alouds--make this a fun and interactive time for families while informing them on the benefits of early learning within your school. For further information on Storybook Village, please Click Here and fill out our participation form.
