Calling All Boxes this Sunday and Next!
Last week we began a sermon series entitled "Building Blocks of God's Church." This Sunday and next Sunday, we invite you to bring your "building block!" We suggest a shoebox wrapped in construction paper or some other material. It can be as simple as writing your name on top of it or as creative as coloring, drawing, and decorating it to fit and represent you.

Each person matters and is a part of the body of Christ. We hope you'll participate with us by bringing your "building block" as we "build up" to February 18th!

Feel free to bring multiple shoe boxes for others to use if you have more than one!
Donate to our Clothing Drive! Ten Days Left!
Items that can be accepted and donated include: Wearable & usable clothing, shoes, belts, handbags, linens, stuffed animals, and hard toys.
Fill a trash bag or two, or ten, and bring them to church!

*We cannot accept: VCR tapes, CDs, books, box TVs/ monitors, oversized play sets or outdoor play sets, workout/exercise equipment, appliances, furniture, lamps, house decor, board games, electronics, glassware, car seats, cribs, hair dryers, mattresses, pack & plays, baby walkers, baby bath sets, or any toy containing lead
Our goal is to get at least 100 bags worth of donations by February 13 th . We’re about 75% of the way there already! Spread the word!

Lent Book & Study
During the season of Lent (February 14-April 1), we will be going through a book by James Harnish called “Easter Earthquake.” Aside from the book containing daily devotionals you can engage in, you can join us:

1) In Sunday worship where our sermons will be based on the themes brought forth in the book
2) Sunday after church for a deeper discussion of what is contained in each week's readings
3) Hungry for More on Wednesday nights with fun activities, storytelling, and discussion different from what you will get in worship or after church.
If you want to purchase a copy of the book, sign up at church THIS week or by emailing Pastor Donald . Cost is $11 & all books are one-size print.
