Plumpton Park Zoo Announces Bear Cubs Born

Bear Cubs Born at the Zoo
Bear cubs 3
Rising Sun, Maryland - March 8th - Plumpton Park Zoo is proud to announce the birth of TWO BEAR CUBS.  Ringo and Frankie were born on January 8, 2013. They are now doing well and will begin limited visits with the public. The decision was made to separate the cubs from their mother Hope, as her enclosure would be too small to allow for 3 bears. In addition, bottle feeding the cubs will make them easier to manage for their keepers.

Media and Members only Event Saturday at 5:00pm
The Zoo will open after regular hours from 5:00 to 7:00 pm for members only and Media ! Contact the Zoo for more information at 410-658-6850.
