Season 3 Sports Registration
Interested students can sign up for Season 3 sports during lunch time Monday January 8th - Wednesday January 10th. Season 3 sports options include volleyball for 7th/8th grade girls and wrestling for 6th/7th/8th grade boys and girls. Athletes will need to have all paperwork and payments turned in by Friday January 26th. 

GUYS AND DOLLS JR. TICKETS NOW ON SALE!
"Guys and Dolls Jr.," performed by Redmond Middle School 7th/8th grade students, is almost here! Come out and support our budding thespians and tech students who have been rehearsing and working on this musical comedy classic since the fall. Get your tickets today online or take your chances at the door!

TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW ONLINE:  Buying tickets in advance will reserve your entry but seats are on a first come, first serve basis. Buy online tickets here: http://rmsptsa.org/Page/Programs/Drama (.50 cent surcharge for online purchases)

TICKET SALES DAY OF SHOW:  Based on availability, tickets may be purchased at the Box Office at Redmond High School. The Box Office will open one hour prior to show time to purchase tickets. Doors open 30 minutes prior to show time. Either cash or check will be accepted at the box office. 

COST:  $5 for Redmond Middle School students and children under 12 and $8 for adults. (.50 cent surcharge for online purchases).

Bond and Levy  Information Session
Lake Washington School District (LWSD) is planning for three ballot measures to
go before voters in the district on February 13, 2018: a bond and two
replacement levies to fund important n eeds not funded by the state. 

Dr. Traci  Pierce, Superintendent w ill present information about the ballot measures and  take questions from attendees on:

District Survey Now Open
Each year, the district invites parents and community members to provide feedback on general school and district questions. The survey is anonymous. Schools and the district use this information in planning for the future and in continuous improvement processes.  This year's survey is now open: tell us what you think!

PTSA NEWS
January General Meeting
Please join us at the January General Membership meeting for RMS PTSA.  The meeting is at 7pm on Tuesday, January 9th in the Redmond Middle School Library. We will be learning about what our PTSA has been doing since the last meeting in November and planning for the future. 

Our guest speaker will be Mr. Jim Allen, Redmond High School counselor,
who will be presenting information about high school graduation and college entrance requirements. RMS 8th graders will be picking their 9th grade classes soon, come to the meeting and get a jump start on your plan. 

This meeting is open to all regardless of membership status.

VOLUNTEERING
Volunteers Needed for Winter Social

We need volunteers to assist with our first school social of 2018. It will be held on

Bear Tracks Weekly is RMS PTSA's electronic newsletter, sent each Monday to RMS families and staff via e-mail. You DO NOT need to be a PTSA member to subscribe to Bear Tracks, it is FREE to all families and staff in the Redmond Middle School community.
