PARENTING 101: Middle School

Come learn what every parent should know about their growing middle schooler! Three experts in their fields will give dynamic presentations on Parenting the Middle School Brain (Sheri Gazitt of Teen Wise), Mental Health & Anxiety (Jennifer Kennett of Eastside Family Counseling), and Digital Parenting for Digital Kids (Jo Langford, therapist and author at BeHeroes). These experts will offer insights and reassurance to parents who are navigating the wild and wonderful middle school years.
Meeting is November 4th, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the LWSD Resource Center, Redmond.

FROM THE SCHOOL
Coffee with Principal Jon

Join Principal Jon Young on Tuesday, Oct. 24th at 6 pm in the RMS Library. Parents will have an opportunity to chat with the principal and other parents about various topics while enjoying coffee and a small treat.
Fund the Grizzlies:  October 6th - 31st

Fund the Grizzlies month continues at RMS. Remember all money collected during this event goes toward supporting our athletics programs by paying for bus transportation and uniforms, supporting our music program by paying for festival fees and transportation to and from events, supporting school events such as hot chocolate mornings and popcorn Thursdays, and paying for things like guest speakers for our school and DJ's to play at our socials.  Every dollar helps, and every year things seem to get more expensive.
We thank you for your continued support and future conversations you might have with your student about their fundraising efforts.  Support from our parents is crucial to our success.   Want to know more about where your dollars go?  Check out all the ASB Fund Reports that are posted on our school website.
Thank you for your continued support!!
Get Your RMS Spirit Gear!

Show your Grizzly pride! There is all kinds of cool spirit gear available this year and the best part is you can order online. Every purchase supports RMS ASB too. Order by October 31st using this order form
