Do We Have Your Correct Contact Information?
If the event of inclement weather, the district will notify us of any late starts or cancellations. Please make sure we have your correct contact information so you can be assured of receiving the robo-calls. To verify your contact information, please visit the
LWSD website and click on the Students & Families tab. From there choose the Parent Access option to login and check and/or correct your information.
If the district has not called for a late start or cancellation, but you live in an area that is unplowed or unsafe to drive, please contact the school and we can excuse your student for the day. While we want all students at school so they can be learning safety always comes first.

Thanksgiving Donation Opportunity
A
re you looking for an activity to help your child gain service hours for honor society, or help them learn about the importance of supporting those in need within their own community?
Redmond Nourishing Networks is a group of caring people working to provide food security and end hunger in our community. They are supporting Redmond Middle School families in need this year over the Thanksgiving weekend with Food Boxes.
They are seeking help from Redmond Middle families to purchase and donate a Food Box for their November 21st distribution date.
If you would like to purchase a food box for a RMS family in need, the below link contains all the need-to-know information and electronic sign-up link.

Special Needs Group November Meeting
This month Amy Patterson of Washington ABLE Governing Board will discuss the ABLE act, its roll-out in Washington, and what it will mean for families. The meeting is scheduled for:
- Tuesday, November 21st (Coffee at 6:30 p.m., Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.)
- LWSD Resource Center in Redmond Town Center
New this year, complimentary child care is available for meeting attendees. If you would like to sign up for this service, please email

. Include your child's name(s) and age(s) at least three days prior to the meeting date. Please use the email subject line: Child Care at PTSA meeting. Last minute drop-ins can only be accepted if space is available as determined at the meeting time. There will be no food or drinks permitted in the child care area.

Items Needed for Thanksgiving Lunch for RMS Staff
We're hosting a Pre-Thanksgiving lunch for the staff at our school on Tuesday, November 21st. If you will be in town please sign up to help. Food items can be dropped off at Felice Nightengale's house on Monday night or at school on Tuesday morning. Volunteers also are needed to set up, serve, and clean up. (

Study Lab Is Back with a Bus!
Study Lab is back on Wednesdays with a
bus home provided!
Study Lab is a free, drop-in homework help program that runs in the RMS library Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:20-3:30pm and Wednesday from 1:00-3:00pm.
The bus runs a loop around Education Hill with stops at Einstein Elementary, Redmond Elementary, and along Avondale Road. If you have any questions about the bus or the program, please email

STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH RMS NEWS!
Bear Tracks Weekly is RMS PTSA's electronic newsletter, sent each Monday to RMS families and staff via e-mail. You DO NOT need to be a PTSA member to subscribe to Bear Tracks, it is FREE to all families and staff in the Redmond Middle School community.
