Yearbooks Available

RMS Yearbooks  are now available for purchase through December 15th. Please note this is the very last chance to purchase and guarantee your copy of the 2017-18 yearbook! Yearbooks will be $35. Please make your check payable to RMS. If you prefer to pay online via Parent Access, please send a request  to  [email protected]  and we can add the yearbook as a "Fee" to your student's account. This "yearbook fee" will only be available in your student's account for 48 hours after your request. Please note, yearbook quantities are determined by the total of the pre-purchased received during the two sales dates. Extras at the end of the year cost more and are not guaranteed!
Winter Break Food Box Donation

Our partnership with Nourishing Network provided food boxes for 25 RMS families during Thanksgiving break.  The food boxes offer nutrition, sustenance, and hope for families struggling with consistent access to food.

Winter break is just a few weeks away, and we are partnering with Nourishing Network again to fill the hunger gap during the two-week holiday.

The School Break Food Box Program not only provides important care and support for RMS families; it is a wonderful service opportunity for families looking for a meaningful way to serve the community this holiday season.

Consider shopping and packing a box as a family.  Students can earn service hours by participating in the donation process.  To defray the cost, consider encouraging your child to practice leadership skills by organizing family, friends, neighbors, or teams to share the cost of a box.

There are TWO donation opportunities.  A shopping list is provided upon signup.  Please note the different drop-off locations.
  • To donate on Tuesday, December 12th, 7am - 10am at RMS, click here
  • To donate on Thursday, December 14th, 7am - 10am at Redmond Presbyterian Church (across from RMS), click here
If your family could benefit from a food box, please contact me at  [email protected] or
(425) 936-2446.
Help Enhance RMS Library - Donate Foreign Language Books!

Did you know that there are 47 languages spoken by students at RMS?  Ms. Metcalf has been working on enhancing the catalog of the library to engage some of these students in their home language.  However, foreign language books often come with a steep markup by the time they reach our town.  So that's where you come in!
If you're traveling during Winter Break to somewhere with a language different than English, please keep an eye out for age appropriate, interesting, and engaging books in other languages.  Donations in any language would be welcomed, but there is a special need for Chinese and Japanese books.

And if you're very interested in this topic, please contact Ms. Metcalf to be added to a list of interested parents for future opportunities.
