Sound Barrier Wall,
Catonsville, MD

Fence & Deck Connection partnered with K.Hovnanian Homes on their new gated community, Eden Terrace, located in the heart of Catonsville, MD. Simtek Ecostone Fence was used as a sound barrier wall for the community as its central location backs up to the Baltimore Beltway.

The wall is approximately 600' long with 8ft, 10ft and 12ft high sections. Simtek Ecostone was chosen because it  blocks 98% of direct sound with a sound transmission class (STC) rating of 26.  Simtek is an attractive, cost effective alternative to concrete sound walls, and a beautiful fit for this elegantly appointed community.
