Construction continues at Chatfield
Construction has begun at Chatfield State Park as part of the Chatfield Reservoir Reallocation Project. All day use facilities and trails located along the west side of the Reservoir are now
closed and are expected to reopen by Memorial Day.

Impacted areas include the North Boat Ramp, Massey Draw, Eagle Cove, swim beach, Balloon Launch, Deer Creek, Jamison, Catfish Flats, Fox Run and the perimeter road from the swim beach to Kingfisher.

The areas that remain open include the dog off leash area, Kingfisher, Gravel Ponds, Heron Viewing Area, Colorado Parks and Wildlife Park Headquarters, campgrounds, marina, model airplane runway, and Roxborough Cove. These areas, however, will only be accessible via the Park's south entrance off Roxborough Road.
