Greetings! |
I received this email from a resident ECM volunteers worked with a few weeks ago:
"I just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful work your crew did on my home. It was a real joy meeting them and spending the day beautifying my home." - Sandy, Barnum resident
Statements like this speak to the power of partnering volunteers with residents in the communities where ECM works to make a tangible difference. Each person receiving this email has your own story about why you're involved in ECM and we would like to hear it. Please reply to this message if you're willing to share your experience for a future blog post. And check out what's going on this month through ECM! |
ECM Work Days |
With cooler temps, September is a great time to participate in an ECM Work Day, so come join other volunteers to lend a helping hand. To see the list of all available Work Day dates, click here. Work Days are scheduled through the end of October, so there is still time to get a group signed up for the fall.
Saturday, September 8 @ 9:00 am (Elyria)
Colorado Miners - 4809 Race Street
Saturday, September 22 @ 9:00 am (Swansea)
Focus Points - 2501 East 48th Avenue
To get involved, please RSVP to Angela and follow the links below to fill out the appropriate liability form.

Thank You: Prologis |
On behalf of the board of directors and staff of Extreme Community Makeover, we want to extend a huge thank you to Prologis for selecting ECM as a recipient of a $10,000 donation at their annual charity golf tournament a few weeks ago. Your support of the work ECM is doing is invaluable, so thanks for your commitment to ECM!

Family Fun Day: Update |

Thank you to those of you who came out for the Family Fun Day event a few weeks ago. Everyone enjoyed a great afternoon at Barnum Park, with games, food, and sharing more about ECM's work. Check out the photos here.
If you weren't able to attend the event, but would still like to make a donation to ECM, you can do that via sending a check in the mail or via a credit card online.
Check: Payable to "Extreme Community Makeover"

"E" Books |
The "E" Book includes free goods and services, as well as exclusive discounts from big name merchants (Cold Stone Creamery, Copper Mountain, King Soopers, and many more) which allow purchasers to immediately recoup the cost of the $10 "E" book. See a full list of coupons here. And along with savings for the purchaser, participating groups, such as ECM, keep 60% of the profits from each "E" Book sold.
ECM will be selling the "E" books at all upcoming Work Days through October. If your church or company would be interested in selling some "E" books to benefit ECM, please contact Angela for details to get that set up. |
