Beaver Creek 4th of July Pancakes, Parade, Celebration & Duck Race, Sycamore Park to Rollins Park
On Wednesday, July 4, the Beaver Creek Parade will leave the Sycamore Park area in Lake Montezuma at 9:00 AM and travel south on Montezuma Avenue past the Village Square.  Montezuma Avenue in this section will be closed to other traffic from about 9 until 9:20 AM.  If you need to cross the bridge, please plan to do so before or after this time.

This year the Grand Marshal is Verna Shafer and Junior Marshal is Abigail Jensen.  Parade entrants (walkers, animals, vehicles, floats, etc) should sign up at the Montezuma Rimrock Fire Station or call 928-567-9401. (If you haven't signed up already, please just show up at 8:30.) The festivities and pancake breakfast will be in Rollins Park at the Lake Montezuma Village Square. The BC Kiwanis Duck Race will be on Wet Beaver Creek by the bridge at Sycamore Park. For inquiries about display tables, entertainment and activities please call Carol Keeton, Kiwanis Past President, at 928-606-4050.  Scheduled events are over about 12:15 PM, so there is plenty of time afterward for family get-togethers.

For the past several weeks Beaver Creek merchants have been selling Duck Race tickets.  Thank you, thank you to the businesses that have been helping the Beaver Creek Kiwanis raise funds for community projects. This year more than $5000 in prizes have been donated by merchants and individuals to make this one of the best races ever.
