Beaver Creek eNews

April 10, 2017

Dear Neighbors

The Beaver Creek communities despite 50+ mph winds had some of the least damage in the Verde Valley considering we did not have the electrical outages and fallen trees that were prevalent in Camp Verde, Cottonwood and Sedona.   Makes no sense, but not complaining.  However less damage did not mean none.  This area took lots of roof damage, broken tree limbs, and tossed furniture.  It has looked like a roof repair party for the past week.

Gopher Remover
Easter is on its way, wild flowers are blooming and our local churches have special services scheduled.  The circus is coming, there are four National Park fee free days, and the historic rock school building is open to the public. There are free slash drop off days through June 1 which is ideal for getting rid of the tree branches and weeds collecting in our yards.

Upcoming is a visit from our District 2 Supervisor and our County Sheriff.  Also the dates for Bingo for Paws and kindergarten registration at Beaver Creek School will arrive soon, too.
