FALL - FAST AND FABULOUS!

As a kid I remember each new school year would start with sharpened #2 Ticonderoga pencils in hand and a new black and white composition book open and ready for the first assignment. The "kids" here at Reeves-Reed Arboretum are also ready, so just check out the listings below for a glimpse of some of the fantastic fall programs and events for you to enjoy.

But allow me to mention two standouts. First, we are offering a wonderful fall bus trip to Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY on Friday, October 26. I'm a graduate of SUNY New Paltz and I can personally attest to the fall fiery display the Shawangunk mountain ridge offers. There's nothing like it - it completely takes your breath away. Add fall colors to the majestic and historic Mountain House property with gardens, trails and fabulous porches set on the pristine Mohonk Lake and you have a day trip not to be missed.

And on October 19, we will offer a very special version of our fall Put the 'PUB' in Public Garden series called Beer, Bourbon & Bacon. Sponsored by Jersey Distilling and David Ellis Events, this tasting event will surely be a sell out for our very popular Put the 'PUB' series, so I encourage you to book now!

So, as we embrace the new season before us, let's all "pick up our pencils and open our books" to the new and exciting months ahead. Ready? Start....

See you in the garden,
