Dear Friends,

As many of you know, our ward office on Halsted Street sustained significant water damage over the winter months due to broken water pipes in the unit above our office. Repairs to the office will begin on Monday, April 20 and will last approximately ten business days.

Here is the schedule during the construction period.
  • On Monday, April 20, the 43rd Ward office will be closed.  We will not be selling Residential Parking Daily Permits as the City Clerk will be testing the computer sales system at our temporary location.
  • Beginning Tuesday, April 21 until approximately May 1, you can buy Residential Parking Daily Permits every weekday from 9 am until 6 pm at our temporary office location at 2527 N. Lincoln, approximately one block from our office.
  • During construction, continue to contact us as always for constituent service requests or other issues. Calls to 773-348-9500 will be forwarded to our staff who will be working out of our downtown City Hall office and our 2527 N Lincoln office. We encourage you to email us at [email protected] with requests, as our phone lines are more limited downtown than they are are at the ward office.
Please note, permits may also be purchased at the Chicago City Clerk's office at 121 N. LaSalle and  online with a customer code found on previously purchased permits or obtained by emailing the City Clerk's office.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our office undergoes necessary construction! We will keep you updated should any further changes arise.
