Positive Athlete America is a movement by high-character professional athletes tied to professional and collegiate sports teams to promote the benefits of "positivity" to young athletes. These athletes believe it is crucial to begin shaping the futures of young athletes for life skills beyond athletic competition and to learn how to give back to their community.

Sims Automotive Wins

Sims Competitive Automotive teams took honors at the Alabama Auto Show Competition on April 14th. The teams won 1st and 2nd place in the engine building competition. This is a first in the 3 year history of the Sims Competitive Automotive teams.

The two Sims automotive teams started preparation for competition engine building back in August. The task...disassemble a 350 CHEVY roller engine, leaving only the cam and crank shafts in the engine then reassemble the engine while working against the clock and using only hand tools. Every team member learns to communicate effectively and work together to complete the task. Rev up your engines and read all about it !
