In today's gospel, Jesus reminds us that we only have one true Father in heaven.
Especially during this Lent, we are called to put everything else aside and focus on God. He is the only assurance we need, and He is our one true teacher.
Christ calls us to remain humble, and He reminds us that we will one day be exalted in heaven.
It is during Lent in which we are especially called to focus on our Father, as we offer sacrifices and look to Him.
