Today's Reflection:
Mr. Christopher Keavy, Head of School

Tough Gospel reading today.

Jesus puts it to us and tells us to take up our crosses daily and follow him. Daily.

This passage reminds me that following Jesus is a daily choice, and this choice requires that I take up my cross of selfishness, vanity, limitations, suffering, love of this world, desire for comfort, awkwardness; in short, anything that keeps me from following Him. I believe in Him, and I want to follow Him. This means taking up my cross daily.

To follow Him is to walk the way of love and the way of truth. With God's help, this Lent I will take up my cross more surely and willingly - daily.
