Here deep in Vikings territory, far be it from us to tell you who to root for this Sunday - the Green Bay Packers or Pittsburgh Steelers.
According to Capital IQ, however, your money should be on the Steelers – based on historical data gathered by the research firm, stocks fare better following a Steelers victory in the big game.
No matter who wins, having both teams face off in the first place should result in an investment touchdown – when the Steelers make an appearance at the Super Bowl, the S&P 500 Index averages a 25.2% surge for the calendar year; when the Packers do, the Index soars 24.2% on average.
