Shabbat a la Mode: Celebrating Shabbat with your Bet Torah Family
Friday March 9th at 6:30pm

Celebrate the special joy and meaning of Shabbat with your Bet Torah community. During Kabbalat Shabbat service, Cantor Herman will teach us ways to bring the ruach or spirit of Shabbat to our own table.

The service will be followed by another delicious meal. This has been a wonderful way to get to know each better so we’ve been using name tags. When you RSVP, please let us know the first name of everyone who will be attending.

Westchester Jewish Film Festival 2018 - March 13–29, 2018
The 2018 Westchester Jewish Film Festival will run from March 13 – 29 at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. This year’s festival will feature 41 films, a robust mix of documentaries and narratives. Many of the films will be followed by speakers, audience Q&As, and receptions. Mitzvah Needles is a group who make hats and scarves each year for the Emergency Shelter, we make NICU blankets for Westchester Medical Center, comfort shawls for the Caregiver Center at Northern Westchester Hospital, and therapeutic blankets for the PTSD program at the VA.  Read More
