Dear Congregants and Friends,

We've just paused in our hectic lives to express our gratitude to one another this Thanksgiving. Now, looking forward to the month of December and the end of the year, we want to ask for your help in expressing our thanks back to the Beth Jacob community that sustains and supports us throughout the entire year.

Two generous donors have each designated $50,000 to match your new (non-ASC) gifts to our shul's general operating fund by December 31. That's $100,000!! What an opportunity to double your impact by supporting Beth Jacob this calendar year! The first half was received in advance, in May 2014. The second gift will arrive by April 2015 and has been committed to support our unique congregational programs. Please help us strengthen Beth Jacob by participating in our 2014 Year-End Challenge Campaign. Together, your new contributions plus the donors' gifts will help fund our operations and ensure our continued financial health.

Please consider making a generous gift right now. Beth Jacob is a warm and welcoming community that works because of your personal investment in heart, time, talents and money. Our goal is to make a dollar for dollar match. Please help us match these generous gifts before December 31. It's easy to help and by making your gift this month, before year-end, you may also be able to take a deduction on your 2014 taxes.

Here's how to donate:

  • Contribute online through the PayPal link on our website
    (beth-jacob.org/donate).
  • Make a donation of stock (contact our office for the transfer account details).
  • Send in or drop off a check to our office.

You can watch our progress by checking the 2014 Year-End Challenge Campaign thermometer at beth-jacob.org! So, please join us in responding to this wonderful opportunity. The 2014 Year-End Challenge Campaign will make a tremendous difference in our continuing operations.

Every contribution, large and small, helps finance our community - and every dollar you donate will be matched, doubling the value of your gift. Thank you for giving so generously to keep Beth Jacob the vibrant and phenomenal shul that we love!
