October is a great month at the markets. New produce like kale, kaleidoscope greens, delicata squash, quinces and baby pumpkins make great dishes for the Fall. In addition you will find seasonal baked goods and prepared foods like apple and pumpkin breads, pumpkins pies, delicious fall chocolates and warm soups to make your meals complete.

Chef Lynn will be at Pike Central this week cooking Tailgate Grilled Sausage and Cornbread Salad. This dish is her specialty - you won't want to miss it! So come on out and experience the delights of Fall at Pike and Mosaic this weekend.

Bethesda Central Farm Market will be closed on Sunday, October 19

We apologize for the inconvenience this weekend, but Bethesda Central Farm Market

will be closed on Sunday, October 19 because our space is being used for the Bethesda Arts Fair truck parking. Many of the Bethesda vendors will be at Pike Central on Saturday, October 18 (only ten minutes up the road from Bethesda and a short walk

from the White Flint Metro), and Mosaic Central in Fairfax on Sunday, October 19! Use the addresses at the bottom of the eblast for your GPS.
