The Beyond Marriage Equality Black LGBTQ Planning Group is a group of organization representatives and concerned individuals who have come together to build upon the momentum of the marriage equality fight in Illinois to augment the power of marginalized LGBTQ people and allies through public policy. Members of this group organized the Illinois Marriage Equality: Black LGBTQ & Allies Celebration on November 25th and has planned one more event before the year ends.
