The leaves are falling and slow chill of the new season is coming ever faster as we move into October. Like every year, the fall season is full of football, playoff baseball, pumpkin and apple picking, and the few last days of warmth. As October also starts we cross off the first month of our 45th season with amazingly only 8 month to go!
Our 45th season has started out great and we're happy to see you all enjoying your time on court with your friends, family and with your favorite pros.
If you think you're busy now, wait until you read below and see all that we have going on! Tournaments for both adults and juniors, Play Days for juniors, Friday and Saturday night adult events, Flex clinics and regular clinics are in full swing to keep you busy along with us!
October also marks a return of our Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising event at the end of the month. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 28th. We are just finalizing the event and details will be out soon. As we did last season, we will be donating $5 for every hour taught at the club from October 23 through October 29! Our goal is to exceed our total amount from last season's fundraiser event and week long fundraiser of $3891.76 which we donated to both Susan G. Komen Rally for the Cause and The Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital.
In this issue you'll find:

If you're ever wondering what week of the season we are in here's a fun fact for you, we are on the same exact schedule as the NFL! Currently the NFL is in week 4 and so are we! I should note that this method of keeping knowing what week we are in only works until mid-January, but it's a fun way to keep track of how the season is progressing. With that said, GO PATS!
Enjoy the October issue of
Beyond the Baseline!
