Parent Survey
Please remember to complete the School Perception Survey by Wednesday to anonymously let us know what you thought of the school this past academic year. What do we do well? What can we work on to be better? Please note we are aiming for 100% parent participation in this shortened version of previous years' surveys and your input is integral for helping us learn how to improve in the coming year. We will be holding our annual iftaar this Ramadan on Saturday, July 5 at 7:00pm. The iftaar will be preceded by a talk and a du'aa. We will then serve iftaar, pray maghrib, and have dinner before taraweeh time. Please invite your family and friends to attend as this event is open to all families across the community. Childcare will be provided free of charge. All guests must RSVP to [email protected] with the names of adults and ages of children who will be attending. Thank you.
Final Report Cards
Final report cards for all Montessori-6th grade students are now available for viewing on Orbund. To see your child(ren)'s report card(s), please click on the Orbund link in the left hand panel of this newsletter, type in your user name and password, and select the role of Parent. Once logged in, click on Academics > Report Cards > select the child whose report card you want to view from the drop down menu.
Financial Aid
You can now apply for financial aid for the 2014-2015 academic year if you have children in Montessori or higher grade levels. The financial aid application is due by Friday, June 20. To begin your financial aid application, please follow the link from our website by clicking here. You will notice that we are using a new service called TADS, a national reputable enrollment, tuition, and financial aid management system which will make the process more efficient. Minor revisions have been made to the 2014-2015 academic year calendar. (Major dates such as the start and end dates will remain the same.) Please see the new version by clicking here.

PTA Officers for 2014-2015
PTA officers for the 2014-2015 academic year have been elected! Uzma Naeem will be president, Alia Khaled will be vice president, Ummehani Hussain will be secretary, and Shameem Nainar will be treasurer. Thank you to all the officers for their year of service, along with all the volunteers who helped coordinate events and activities. Please remember that involvement in the school is not limited to the PTA or being an officer. Please contact the PTA or your child's teacher any time to let them know you are available to assist them with anything they need.

If you have not signed up already please download the app on your phone and start scanning grocery receipts. It's a simple way of helping ILM Academy raise money. We have already made $100 from simply scanning receipts! The more people we sign up, the more money the school can raise!

Welcome Ramadan - Sisters Classes
