oneThank You

Thank you for a wonderful year! Your generosity in all aspects has helped us accomplish all that we have this year and we look forward to continuing to improve as we grow. Have a wonderful summer, a blessed Ramadan, and we look forward to seeing you soon, insha'Allah.
Removal of Your Address

If you will not be returning to ILM Academy next year, we will remove your email address from this mailing list in the next few weeks (so please don't unsubscribe yourself) but will keep you as a part of our general mailing list where we send updates about our school's progress and invitations to our events, such as the fundraiser, Ramadan iftaar, and so on. You will always be a part of this family and we look forward to keeping in touch with you over the years.
How Did You Feel This Year?

We emailed our School Perception Survey to you at the start of last week. If you have not already, please be sure to complete it by Friday as we wish to begin developing and implementing changes this summer. We are aiming for 100% participation from our families and so far have received about a third of our families' responses. To complete the 10 minute anonymous survey, please click here.

Ramadan Iftaar Invitation

Please attend our annual Ramadan iftaar on Saturday, June 20. There will be a children's program, an adult lecture, followed by breaking fast and eating dinner. More details will be emailed out soon but for now please save the date!
Is Your Contact Info Changing?

If your email, mailing address, or phone number changes over the summer, please let us know via email. Note that we will be mailing home your student's academic reports over the summer so we need an updated mailing address on file. The last known record we have is from your TADS Admissions application which you filled out in January.
How to Contact ILM Academy Over the Summer

The best way to contact ILM Academy over the summer is via email to any/all of the following addresses: [email protected] and/or [email protected]. Our school will be closed over the summer so we will not be able to answer the phone.

Uniforms and Ordering

The uniform for next year will remain the same with the exception that all clothing must be loose-fitting. For example, the pants worn as a part of the daily uniform with the polo shirts may not be skinny pants or leggings. Girls wearing leggings as a part of their jumper or skirt uniform are still allowed to do so. We recommend you order your student's formal uniform items weeks in advance as shipping takes time. To view this past year's uniform policy with links to order uniforms, please click here. To get free shipping from FrenchToast on orders of $75 or more, enter code QPFREE75 by June 30.
Summer Reading/Supply Lists

The recommended or required reading list for your child's class for next year is attached. Click on the grade level(s) which your child(ren) will be going in to next year:
Supply lists will be emailed out later in the summer.
Physical Evaluation & Immunizations for 2015-2016

Please ensure your child has had a physical thus far in the year of 2015 or will be having one. If/When you take your child for a check up, please provide them with our Physical Evaluation form to fill out. If you cannot get this filled out because your child had his/her yearly checkup already, please instead provide us with the doctor's report stating your child is in good health or has any medical history. We also need results stating your child has successfully passed the hearing and vision screenings if he/she is at least 4 years old.

Please also click here for a letter from the Texas Department of State Health Services emphasizing the immunization requirements for the next year. Please be sure your child(ren) are appropriately immunized by August.
