 Financial Aid
If you would like to apply for financial aid for your students for the 2015-2016 academic year, please click on the below button to start your application. It must be fully submitted by Thursday, July 30. There are multiple documents the application will ask you to submit. Please be ready to submit them and contact your accountant as needed for supporting documentation.

Removal of Your Address
If you will not be returning to ILM Academy next year, we will remove your email address from this mailing list after this email (so please don't unsubscribe yourself) but will keep you as a part of our general mailing list where we send updates about our school's progress and invitations to our events, such as the fundraiser, Ramadan iftaar, and so on. You will always be a part of this family and we look forward to keeping in touch with you over the years. |
Mailing Home Academic Reports
Your child's academic reports are being mailed home this week. If you are an ECC parent, you will only receive a print out of the academic calendar in the mail. If you are a Montessori parent, you will only receive the academic calendar and your child's final Montessori report card. If you are an elementary or middle school parent, you will receive the academic calendar, final report cards, Stanford and MAP test results, and a letter from the principal about the tests we chose to administer this year and what we learned from them. Academic Calendar Change
A change has been made to the academic calendar for 2015-2016, which is that September 2 will be a late arrival day for students, instead of an early dismissal day. This change is reflected in the print out calendar you are receiving in the mail. Additional calendars will be available in school and they are always linked to these newsletters.

Required Immunizations Update
The Texas Department of State Health Services sent out a correction email to us recently that they had sent out the wrong immunization requirements for next year. The correct ones are now available
here. The letter from the state can be found
here. Please be sure your child(ren) is/are fully immunized by the first day of school.

Summer Reading/Supply Lists
The recommended or required reading list for your child's class for next year is attached. Click on the grade level(s) which your child(ren) will be going in to next year:

Physical Exams and Hearing/Vision
Please ensure your child has had a physical thus far in the year of 2015 or will be having one. If/When you take your child for a check up, please provide them with our Physical Examination form to fill out. If you cannot get this filled out because your child had his/her yearly checkup already, please instead provide us with the doctor's report stating your child is in good health or has any medical history. We also need results stating your child has successfully passed the hearing and vision screenings if he/she is at least 4 years old. |

Uniforms and Ordering
The uniform for next year will remain the same with the exception that all clothing must be loose-fitting. For example, the pants worn as a part of the daily uniform with the polo shirts may not be skinny pants or leggings. Girls wearing leggings as a part of their jumper or skirt uniform are still allowed to do so. We recommend you order your student's formal uniform items weeks in advance as shipping takes time. Tuition Information
A formal email will be sent to you later this summer, in early August at the latest, with your family's tuition information for the 2015-2016 academic year. You can also calculate your family's tuition for the next academic year by reading the tuition page of our website. |
