PMINYC Volunteer Spotlight
April was International Volunteers Month. PMI NYC is not run by a team of volunteers. It is run by a community of volunteers – 120 volunteers to be exact. Our volunteers find our meeting venues, plan our chapter meetings, execute our Symposium, make sure our technology works and run our Outreach events and elections. Our volunteers make sure each member receives PDUs for the meetings they attend. Read More
Recap: April Event - "Four C's of Communication"
Our first 2018 quarterly meeting, featuring internationally known speaker Carl Pritchard, was postponed due to weather. A contingency webinar was held that evening, with Mr. Pritchard delivering his presentation "The Four C's of Communication." A live meeting was held on April 4th with Frank Saladis, PMP, PMI Fellow, combining the key points of Mr. Pritchard's talk with more tips on communicating effectively with many stakeholders.
