Hello Connected Riders,

I have taken the past 3 months to be at home with our new Legacy Horses, preparing them as riding and teaching horses. It has been a gift to have this time with them and to have received help and support to welcome them into our new School program.

I think of you all as I do the daily work of grooming, bodywork, groundwork, TTEAM work, and riding. Each horse requires something in particular each day, and, most of all, they require me to slow down, notice, and pay attention to their needs in the moment. Their response is always one of gratitude and willingness to do their best.

As Spring approaches, and you're having thoughts of being more active with your horses again, remember to take the time to bring them "up to speed" by doing groundwork, bodywork, and getting their wind and respiration ready to carry you again. It's a fun process that will reap benefits for both of you as you get in sync and fit together!
