  • Music under the Stars 7 p.m. Thursdays on historic Hill Street, free outdoor concerts sponsored by Mark Twain Museum. Here's the schedule!
  • Bear Creek Rendezvous 9 a.m. to dusk Aug. 11 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 12 at Mark Twain Cave Complex. The event will include demonstrations of primitive knife and tomahawk throwing, woodworking, flint napping, gun-ball making, tanning, pottery making and Native American cooking. Children’s games will be played, and Native American genealogy will be shared. There also will be an open-air market and tribal music and dancing.
  • Homesteading Life Conference 9 a.m. to 6 p.m Aug. 12-13 at Star Theater. Demonstrations and lectures about solar power, living off the grid, beekeeping marketing gardening and more. More information here.
  • Salute to Casablanca Aug. 12-19 at Greater Days Restaurant. One-of-a-kind special event starts with a handcrafted meal and preshow entertainment inspired by the flavors of Morocco, followed by a live tribute to the beloved Warner Brothers film. Check it out!
