THE SOCK WHO LOST HIS MATE
kicks off the 4th Annual
New York Children's Theater Festival!
A terrific cast, a tuneful and funny show, a great experience! Snowlion Rep was thrilled with its last show of this season making waves in the Big Apple!
John Tartaglia, star of Broadway's Avenue Q and Shrek, loved the show and posed with the Sock cast:
The New York Times quipped "Pity all those poor socks that go into the laundry, never to return. One of those left bereft by these mysterious disappearances is the star of "The Sock Who Lost His Mate," and he's determined to rescue all that missing footwear."
They went on to explain, "This musical by MK Wolfe and Thomas Adams opens this year's New York Children's Theater Festival, a four-weekend celebration whose productions - a new one each week - are chosen from submissions sent to a large group of theater professionals."
The Sock Who Lost His Mate was chosen to kick off the festival, and what an opening it had! The show was a great success in its historic Greenwich Village theater!
