In honor of National Bike Month (that's May, if you weren't sure), we're giving away a kid's bike and several related goodies, including a Tyke Toter, and a Fohawx. Find out just what those are and how to enter the drawing.


 
Paine Field Aviation Day 

If your child loves airplanes, you won't want to miss the 17th annual Paine Field Aviation Day on Saturday. The event is open to the public with plenty of fun, food and activities to engage local kids. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, free flights for kids, and much more. Read more.

Guess Who's Turning 1?

Come celebrate the first birthday of some of the coolest cats around - Miksa, Keira and Tika - the cougar cubs at Cougar Mountain Zoo. The animals get their gifts and cake at 3 p.m., guests get their cake at 3:30 p.m. Activities also include a raffle, face painting and a birthday hat station. Read more.

 

Dance Around the World 

Middle Eastern, Peruvian, Chinese, Hawaiian - dance is universal. Learn a few new moves this weekend at The Children's Museum, Seattle. Dancers from seven countries around the globe will be on hand to entertain and teach visitors. Read more.

"If your children enjoy a carnival atmosphere and energetic "kindie" rock music, they'll love In Tents, the new production at Teatro ZinZanni for children 10 and younger. If they're hoping for a circus, they may be disappointed. Seattle Parks and Recreation opened Lowery C. "Pop" Mounger Pool, one of its two outdoor pools, on Saturday, May 12 for the summer season. Other area outdoor pools are scheduled to open soon. Read More.
