Your Standing Committee is pleased to announce that we are now taking applications for the Search and Transition Committees as we call a new Bishop to lead our Diocese. Please see the link below for the application. Working on these committees will involve email, so it's very important for you to submit your application electronically to [email protected].

- The Search and Nomination Committee interviews and selects candidates to present to Standing Committee for nomination as the next Bishop of Southern Virginia.
- The Transition Committee's key responsibilities include walkabouts, assist in the election process, ordination & consecration in conjunction with the Diocesan Liturgical Commission, and pastoral care of those in the process.
