Black 47 has finished recording the tracks for Last Call. We're at present adding overdubs and guests, and will soon begin mixing for a late January release. We'd love if you could join us on this last sonic adventure and pledge $10 for a pre-release download of the CD. We've raised 30% of the cost so far and are deeply appreciative of those who have come aboard. It's going to be one of our best. Take a listen to a rough mix version of Johnny Comes a'Courtin', a track about the young Irish exiled to Jamaica by Oliver Cromwell: www.pledgemusic.com/black47 You can pre-order a copy of Last Call and be well ahead of the general public. There are many more "incentives" that you can find out about. You'll also get access to a special 'pledger only' part of the Black 47 PledgeMusic site where we're currently sharing music, pictures and videos from the recording. Join us on this last venture. It will be a blast. www.pledgemusic.com/black47 TOURING 2014 Black 47 will be playing many gigs right through Nov 15th, 2014 when we'll do our final show in New York City. Right now we're planning on hitting as many parts of the country as possible and have already scheduled soon to be announced performances in IL, WI, OH, FL, NV, LA, with many more in the works. We'll announce them as they get confirmed. We expect to play many Irish festivals in a farewell tour through the summer and hope to see you. Thanks for your love and support.

-Autographed by Larry Kirwan-
In the great tradition of Irish narratives, Larry Kirwan now occupies a noble and unique place. His story is rich, layered, and edgy - without a trace of self-consciousness or self-pity. This is a truly compelling story, told by a rock and roll poet with a deep appreciation of his roots... Rosanne Cash
Rockin' The Bronx is also available as an eBook at Amazon.com and B&N.com as is Kirwan's other novel, Liverpool Fantasy.
