FlyQ EFB - 4.5 out of 5 Stars
FlyQ EFB, from Seattle Avionics, is the #1 rated iPad aviation app in the Apple App Store.

Its 4.5 out of 5 star rating is higher than ForeFlight, higher than WingX, higher than any major app. And new version 1.4.3 was just released.

8 Great Reasons to Switch to FlyQ EFB

Overall

If a picture is worth a thousand words, we think these videos are worth a million.  In just three minutes, you'll learn why FlyQ EFB is the #1 app

If you've already used FlyQ EFB, the What's New in Version 1.4 video gets you up to speed.

FlyQ in 3 Minutes  What's New in version 1.4

1.  It's simply the best.  But don't take our word for it.

Comments made by fellow pilots on the App Store:

"With the latest 1.4 release of FlyQ I've stopped using ForeFlight"

"I found WingX (and ForeFlight) involve way too much tapping around to get info ... FlyQ it's quick and much more efficient"

"The app does everything more intuitively than ForeFlight."

"I sent an email request on a Sunday morning and Support responded within minutes."

"FlyQ beat ForeFlight by a couple-hundred nautical miles"

2.  FlyQ EFB doesn't lock you into one ADS-B Receiver.

ADS-B technology is changing very rapidly.  You should be free to choose whatever ADS-B receiver you like and not be forced into just one proprietary receiver (hear that ForeFlight and Garmin?).   FlyQ EFB supports 9 different ADS-B receivers!

3.  Split-Screen

If your app still doesn't support true split-screen, you're missing too much! Situational awareness and pilot workload is dramatically improved with FlyQ EFB's split-screen mode.  You don't even need an ADS-B receiver to use it.

4. 3D Synthetic Vision - Standard!

Like split-screen views, 3D synthetic vision dramatically adds to situational awareness.  You'll see dangerous terrain and obstacles in the synthetic vision before you can see them with your eyes.  It's standard-equipment on FlyQ EFB, not an extra-charge option.

3D + Map and Plate

5.  FlyQ takes fewer taps to access info and is much easier to use.

When you're flying, nothing counts more than getting to crucial information quickly.  FlyQ EFB was designed with what we call the "Rule of 2" which means it never takes more than two taps to get to important inflight information.

Similarly, FlyQ is easier to learn, easier to use, and easier to remember how to use.  We have lots of great training videos, a Getting Started Guide, and many webinars.

6.  Plates on the Map

With just one tap, put any approach plate on any map and fly right on the plate!  That means overlay weather, traffic, terrain, etc. or rubber-band your flight plan right on the plate.  And to change plates, it's a simple swipe to the left or right!  Even use the plates in North Up or Track Up mode.

7.  FlyQ EFB has larger text and buttons.

Let's face it, most pilots aren't 25 and don't have the eyesight of a hawk.  FlyQ EFB was designed by pilots your age who wear reading glasses and it shows!

8.  FlyQ uses genuine Seattle Avionics geo-referenced plates.

FlyQ EFB is the only major aviation app with the genuine Seattle Avionics certified-quality plates.  Seattle Avionics provides the plates to more than 20 different apps and devices including those from Bendix-King, Dynon, Aspen, and many more.  In fact, we're the only vendor besides Jeppesen and Garmin to ever achieve the FAA DO-200A level of certification required for certified systems.

 * The Fine Print

  • At these prices, we're sorry but no refund can be given for an existing subscription unless purchased within the last 14 days. No exceptions.
  • All subscriptions offered in this promotion are for US ChartData only.
  • Due to the holiday, Seattle Avionics will have a very limited staff on Friday.  We very strongly suggest you use the links in the email to order online to ensure that you get one of the 500 units available.
  • In the unlikely event that the FAA begins charging per-user fees or significantly increases the fees they charge us, we'll have to pass this cost on to you in the form of a small annual fee.  We guarantee that any supplemental fee will be just enough to cover new FAA charges so will surely still be far less than a normal subscription.
