Tree Pose/Vrksasana-- is one of the most known standing balancing postures.
It strengthens the standing leg, core muscles and increases focus and balance.   Practice pose on both sides of the body, holding the pose for 5-8 breaths on each side.  In the photo the adults and their elementary school age kids are practicing this pose among many other postures & breathing techniques during the Kids + Parent Yoga class which is offered on Thursdays (Please register in advance for this class, 4 minimum required for the class to run.) 

***This week all classes are on, with the
 exception of
Saturday classes are cancelled.  NO classes the following week-- taking the week off. 

***This Thursday at 4:30 the Kid and Mom / Dad / Guardian / Grandparent Yoga.  Please share this with any friends or family 
members w
ho may be interested (Kids ages 5-11).  
Advanced registration is required--minimum of 4 to run this class!

Coming up at Bliss Yoga:
  • Due to popular demand, we are continuing the 4 week Tween & Teen yoga series : an ideal hour for your 11-16 year old girls and boys!  They will strengthen, increase focus, build their confidence, improve body image, learn to cope with peer pressure and have an overall great hour weekly to learn all about the lifetime benefits of yoga, meditation and mindfulness.  Please share with all the families you know who have tweens & teens.  Let's discuss the summertime schedule and time frame for this class or any other requests!
  • Kid and Mom / Dad / Guardian / Grandparent Yoga Thursdays at 4:30 PM; please share this with any friends or family  members who may be interested (Kids ages 5-11) 
  • Prenatal: Saturday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 (all trimesters). Please sign up min of 24 hrs - 48 hrs before class, otherwise class will be cancelled for the week. Minimum of 4 for any specialty classes.        Please check with me before you come to class to make sure it's on!       ***Please bring doctor's note/permission for participating in this class!
  • Date Night/Partner Yoga  Leave all worries, expectations, demands, or judgments behind. Enjoy this lighthearted, never competitive environment - a truly great time for two people: without any preparation, dressing up, or requirements on your part. $25+tax per couple--a sweet deal for a date night!
