PTC Board & Committee Chair positions are available for next year. Please join our PTC meeting tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th, 6:30 pm in the staff lounge. Please consider nominating yourself or others to join the Blue Oaks PTC Board or become a Committee Chair for 2015-16. All are welcome to come and hear what is going on at Blue Oaks and make a difference in the school. There is childcare provided in the Bears' Lair for potty-trained children ages 3 and older. Click here for the minutes from the last meeting.

 
Staff Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Monday, May 4 - Friday, May 8

 

Don't forget about Staff Appreciation Week this week!!We will be celebrating Staff Appreciation week May 4th-8th. 

Please remember your teachers and other special people who help at our school during Staff Appreciation Week with tokens of your gratitude (cards, a flower from your garden, a sweet treat, etc.). There is a binder in the office that has a list of teachers and staff's favorite things.
Walk-A-Thon Volunteers Needed
Friday, May 8
                                
This Friday, May 8 is the annual Blue Oaks Walk-A-Thon.
  
We are still in need of volunteers for this event. Please click the following link to sign-up to volunteer from 9:30-11:30 on 5/8:


Only those parents signed-up to volunteer and signed-in will be permitted on campus during the event. Thank you for your help to make this a safe and fun event for our students!
Spring Book Fair                          

 Monday, May 11- Friday, May 16           

                 


The Spring Book Fair will be open beginning Monday , May 11 and will run until Friday, May 16.  It will be open at lunchtime and after school as well as during Open House on Thursday, May 14. Click  here for more information.
Don't forget about Lunch with Someone Special during the Book fair.  Come and have lunch with your student and shop at the book fair.
