BOB LANOIS to design recording studio!!!
Brantford Centre for the Arts
Hey everyone, we're super excited about this announcement. Bob Lanois (see his amazing bio below) has agreed to help the Brantford Arts Block design and build our recording studio in the new building. This is going to make this studio an attraction for Bands across Ontario and beyond, but will also be an amazing resource for our local musicians. Thanks to Bob's help (and help from fellow music producer and a great friend of Bob's Glen Marshall, as well as a host of other individuals who are helping with the recording studio) this studio will help to make Brantford a top notch place for bands to record.
Bob is such a dynamic individual and as amazing as this bio is, it doesn't even do him justice. He's going to have such a huge impact on this project, and we're really excited to have him on board:
Bob Lanois has been creating recording studio designs and artistic work environments all his life. Since the beginnings of his internationally famous Grant Avenue Studio, Bob has often been called upon by his famous brother / producer Daniel Lanois and others to create custom recording studio spaces and facility for some of the most respected musicians and artists in the world. Bobs technical and artistic know how have been integral to the studios and environments he has helped create.
Apart from designing studios and high end recording studio equipment for Canadian tech company GP2, Bob is a Juno nominated musician, and death defying former motorcyclist who can often be found directing and shooting film and video for many Canadian and international super stars. The arts block recording studio project is a perfect fit for Bob Lanois's innovative and pragmatic design concepts and execution.
Bob is already immersed in this exciting project and is thrilled to be working with the Brantford Arts Block to help bring this wonderful project to fruition.
