From the Principal's Desk:
Happy spring from Kenston High School! I truly hope everyone enjoyed the break spending time with family and friends and anticipating the warm weather returning to Northeast Ohio.
We have progressed into the final nine weeks of the school year and I have been proud to see both students and staff focused on engagement in the classrooms. This learning approach allows students to experience new interpretations of content through quality lesson design. Teachers have been actively reviewing instructional activities that support innovation, student choice, authenticity, and variety in their planning.
As a school-community at KHS, we have evaluated our own climate and culture. We want to maintain a quality experience that ensures students' success for college and career readiness. We will continue to align our KHS programs to the district goals shared below:
·
Achievement
·
Citizenship (PEAK)
·
Health and Wellness
·
Innovation
·
Communication
Each goal encompasses many components which makes KHS what it is today. Under health and wellness, our staff has identified a few focus areas to help develop stronger relationships and rapport between staff and students. This focus will look at new structures and programs to support mental health awareness in the building.
I look forward to observing our seniors as they participate in the traditional end-of-the-year events leading up to Commencement on Tuesday, May 22. I wish them the best of luck as they complete this last quarter of their high school career.
Please continue to stay informed by checking our website, following us on Twitter and reading our school mailings. Thank you to all parents for your support and encouragement regarding student achievement at Kenston High School.
Sincerely,
Tom Gabram

It is important for students to come to school prepared to take these exams. A healthy breakfast and good night of sleep can be beneficial to all students! Thank you, in advance, for your continued support and cooperation with state testing mandates.

The Addams Family
is a musical comedy with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and the book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. The show is based upon
The Addams Family
characters created by Charles Addams in his single-panel gag cartoons, which depict a ghoulish American family with an affinity for all things macabre.
The Addams Family
features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family - a man her parents have never met. And if that weren't upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's 'normal' boyfriend and his parents.
The cast, crew and pit orchestra includes Isabel Andras, Mia Bester, Maddy Blackford, Ethan Brinkman-Sull, Wes Byrnes, Jimmy Burg, Aron Butler, Brendan Byrnes, Grace Cannon, Macie Chamberlin, Molly Cohen, Olivia Como, Sebastian Dodrill, Madelyn Engoglia, Hannah Fender, Kayleigh Fisher, Rachel Flack, Trey Ford, Dayle Foster, Julia Fugedy, Keenan Garceau, Gracie Geisler, Daniel Giebner, Billy Glime, Mandy Glime, Emily Hall, Jenna Hamilton, Sarah Hauserman, Kelcey Hendrikson, Megan Herbruck, Olivia Heysek, Alex Hubert, Nik Hunder, Sophia Irvin, Alyssa Kassouf, Patrick Keane, Ryan Kohn, James Kregenow, Sam Kress, Nya Ku, Ronan Ku, Kelsey Kundtz, Nicole Lanese, Ernie Manke, Colin Mast, Erin Mast, Josh Masters, Grant Mastropieri, Jack McDonough, Olivia Mendolera, Keirstan Mesnick, Lauren Mollohan, Colin Montville, Ian Montville, Julia Morey, Emma Nidy, John Palmer, Laura Parsons, Riley Potts, Brendan Roche, Caleigh Russell, Madi Scarvelli, Anna Snyder, Mac Snyder, Anna Soryal, Sarah Soryal, Morgan Spehar, Sam Standley, Jess Stirewalt, Jess Sunderhaft, Lauren Thomas, Luke Totte, Britta Treu, Kaila Walker, Faith Walls, Josh Walls, Natalie Wasinski, Nathan Wasinski, Maria Weil, Phillip Witmer-Rich, Jenna Wrona and John Yakovac.
