More often than not, when I quote the above Scripture, I usually pair it with the Words of Saint Paul:
1 Corinthians 14:4 (KJV)
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
And, for the record, I speak "in an UNKNOWN tongue," I BELIEVE in
"SPEAKING IN TONGUES," and sincerely BELIEVE that this marvelous Gifting
PROMISED by our Lord and Savior, is and was the power behind the Apostle Paul's ministry!
Paul said:

18 I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:
To close out my thoughts of "speaking in tongues," I call to your attention Jesus final Words before His Ascension:

8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
In this present world filled to overflowing with negativity, condemnation, and belittlement, we NEED to BUILD UP OURSELVES!!!
The world is sho-nuff NOT gonna do this for us!!
Once again, I find myself unable at night to stand/bear watching the "news" and talking political head pundits!
Can YOU say lies and liars!!???
TRULY, we now live in the day where:

THE HEART OF THE SONS OF MEN IS FULLY SET IN THEM TO DO EVIL!!!!!!"

More and more MUST it be proclaimed from the roof tops and pulpits everywhere that

In a most trying time, Jesus asked his 12 Disciples:

More and more, I find MYSELF needing.\/having to ENCOURAGE MYSELF.
Beloved, YOU are not and never will be alone!!!!

When I am wakened oft times in the wee hours of the night, and/or instead of wasting my time watching sports, (Of whom I have no control over their outcomes),
or listening to, reading and/or watching the politicians and talking heads, (of which I only have ONE mere vote),
I CHOOSE to spend the time ALONE with Jesus!!!!
