Be Part of the Change
Five ways to get involved with
The Boston Project Ministries
this spring and summer.

The Boston Project Ministries engages neighbors and volunteers to build and nurture strong communities characterized by God's shalom.
Greetings!
Have you ever wondered if there is a big or little way you could contribute to The Boston Project?  Here are five ideas from donating your used items to giving your whole summer for ministry.

To find out more, email us at info@tbpm.org or call at 617-929-0925.

We look forward to hearing from you.
MANY THANKS!
~ Your Boston Project friends
1.  YARD SALE - Treasures Needed Soon
It's that time again! We are holding our annual Yard Sale to raise money for our summer ministries (last year $3,100).  Donate your treasures in good-to-new condition by May 18 (the earlier the better!).

Furniture  ~  Appliances  ~  Household Items
Kitchen Goods  ~  Toys & Games  ~  Sports Stuff
Clothes  ~  Linens  ~  Working Electronics  ~  More

Drop off is preferred; pick-up may be available. Contact Liz Cressy
2.  STAFF MEALS - Can you cook?
Bless our 2012 Summer Staff by cooking a delicious lunch or dinner! We need 20 people or church groups to plan, purchase, and cook a meal for 25 staff.

If you can cook, microwave, or even order take-out, we would love to have you bring some food and spend time with our staff.

Typically Wednesday dinners and Friday lunches needed, plus some other days.  Contact Sarah Riddle for dates and details.  It's fun!

3.  SUMMER STAFF - Positions Available
We are accepting applications and hiring 12 adults (ages 20+) to lead the Summer Missions Program and our Neighborhood Youth and Family Ministries.

More details about the positions available and how to apply are on our website:

Please help us spread the word to young adults who may be a good fit!
4.  YOUTH GROUPS - Summer Missions Trip
Is your church looking for a last-minute mission trip?
Could YOU bring a small team of youth to Boston?

We have open space for small teams (3-10 people) on most weeks of our Summer Missions Program. For dates and details, go to www.tbpm.org/smp.

We provide an "all inclusive" trip, so let us take care of the details!  Contact Nik Locker today for more information.
School Supplies
5.  COLLECTING SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Last year, we provided school supplies to over 100 children and teens who live in our neighborhood.

This was possible because families and churches helped us collect school supplies.  Join us this summer in "shopping the sales" to help kids start the school year strong.  Full list of school supplies. Backpacks are especially needed.  Contact Paul with questions.  Donations requested by August 24.
MATCHING GRANTS:
DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT!

Did you hear? We have received three matching grants of $5,000 each!

Until October 1st, your new/increased monthly donations or special gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar for:

1) Ben & Liz Cressy
2) Keith & Sarah Riddle
3) Our General Fund
