Toxic stress can trigger hormones that wreak havoc on the brains and bodies of children, putting them at a greater risk for disease, homelessness, prison time, and early death.  RESILIENCE chronicles the dawn of a movement to fight back. Learn  cutting-edge science and field-tested therapies to protect children from the effects of toxic stress.  Following the screening will be a panel discussion with experts who are leading change right here in Maryland.
Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Did you know that 20% of youth ages 13-18 live with a mental health condition? Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach -- parents, caregivers, school staff, peers, health and human services workers, and others who regularly interact with youth -- how to help a teen who is experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge or crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, typical development, and a 5-step action plan for both crisis and non-crisis situations.
Strike Out Child Abuse Bowling Event
