Maxwell Ranch Wins the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo
Billings, MT--The team from Powderville, Montana, Maxwell Butte, wins the 2017 Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo. 

Lane Krutzfedlt, Jake Goddard, Alec Haughian, John Henry Beardsley and Ava Rankin made up the winning combination to take their share of the $10,000 purse. 

They won second place in the 2 p.m. performance last Saturday afternoon and then came back to win the entire thing in the short-go. This team has been traveling all across Montana this summer competing in and winning several. The Maxwell Butte team has qualified to the NILE in previous years. 

Following in second place overall was the Reid Ranch from Idaho Falls, ID. Made up of Justin Palmer, Jess Reid, Kip Hunter, Brandi Hunter, and Jak Christensen.

Third place went to Cow Camp Supply--Sparky Wallaus, Luke Hutchinson, Jo Beth Hutchinson, and Travis Brereton. They're from Fairfield, Mont. 

Hamilton Ranch from Twin Bridges, Mont. won fourth place. Their team is comprised of  Jaime Wood, Sam Wood, Shane Sorden, Madison Sorden, and Cooper Jenkins.

Fifth place was award to the cowboys and cowgirl from Martinsdale, Mont. Joe Pierce, Jeremy Pierce, Liz Pierce, Guy Simatrom, and Ross Salsberry

The winning team from the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo will compete at the Farstad Oil Ranch Rodeo Finals at the NILE Saturday, October 14 at 7 p.m. in Billings, Montana. The NILE is proud to have the Bozeman Roundup Ranch Rodeo as one of the sanctioning partners.
