Brain-Based Teaching Strategies
Every Teacher Needs to Know
Teachers at all grade levels are faced with the question of how to best engage students and encourage long-term retention. Brain-based teaching seeks to answer these questions by applying principles within the fields of neuroscience and psychology directly to the PreK-12 classroom environments. In this webinar, participants will explore specific evidence-based practices and walk away with the ability to identify and describe the components of an effective brain-based lesson.

Participants will also have the opportunity to dive in deeper after the webinar through Brandman’s professional development course “ Brain-Based Teaching Strategies .” Through a grant, the first twenty-five individuals who register for the course will be able to participate in the professional learning at no cost, usually $400 per participant.*
In this webinar we will focus on:

  • What is brain-based teaching
  • Brain-based teaching strategies every teacher needs to know
  • Using brain-based best practices in your classroom
