Happy December. As we close out the year we wanted to share some news on our BrandProjects. 

We have seen excellent results over the past 2 quarters and are excited to announce the addition of a new BrandProject -- PetPlate.  See below for highlights. Please tune into Shark Tank on ABC this evening (December 2) to watch Renaldo Webb, the founder of PetPlate make his pitch to the Sharks.

PETPLATE JOINS BRANDPROJECT 
Based in Brooklyn NY, PetPlate makes it easy for pet parents to nourish their pets with love by delivering freshly-cooked meals made from wholesome ingredients that do not contain any by-products, rendered meats or preservatives. The meals are designed by a veterinary clinical nutritionist for nutritional balance and are pre-portioned and ready to serve. The company offers a convenient subscription service that automatically ships the meals directly to the consumer on a regular basis, depending on the size of the pet. BrandProject is excited to be working with the founder, Renaldo Webb and the PetPlate team to rapidly scale the business. The company will be featured on Shark Tank  tonight (December 2) on ABC and we are gearing up to acquire customers with a new website, branding and optimized product.



CHEFS PLATE  CLOSES $6M SERIES B ROUND 
A new funding round was successfully closed for Chefs Plate , led by Germany's Acton Capital Partners, who backed one of the original startups in the meal-kit space, Swedish based Linus Matkasse. InvestEco and prior investors Emil Capital and BrandProject also participated.   Chefs Plate  is Canada's leading meal-kit delivery service, providing fresh recipes and pre-portioned ingredients directly to your door. After incredible growth since their launch last year, Chefs Plate has expanded across Western Canada and has launched family plans. More information can be found in their  news release

OWLET BABY CARE SECURES AN ADDITIONAL $15M IN SERIES B ROUND 
Providing peace of mind to parents everywhere, Owlet,  the creator of the Owlet Smart Sock raised an additional $15 million through venture funding and a collaborator role grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), bringing its total raised to $25 million. This new round of funding provides Owlet  with the backing to expand reach into retail and international distribution, launch two new product lines and kickoff the largest infant health study ever conducted.  More information can be found in their  news release.


 
THE COVETEUR LAUNCHES BOOK "PRIVATE SPACES, PERSONAL STYLE"

DAILY HARVEST LAUNCHES SOUPER SOUPS
Daily Harvest has cooked up something new. Three perfectly portioned, ready-to-eat soups filled with nutritious, whole vegetable noodles, spices and superfoods launched this month. Think Cup O'Noodles, only healthier (and more grown up).  Customers can now mix and match soups with their smoothie subscriptions. Early sales results have been very promising, resulting in increased revenue per order and very positive reviews.
