Breaking News: OC Chief Real Estate Officer Out
Scott Mayer, the Chief Real Estate Officer for the County of Orange and administrator over the contract negotiations for our Harbor Revitalization Project is departing his role with the County.  We have been advised that this action is not related to our harbor renovation project, and that the County real estate team, under the supervision of the County Chief Executive Officer, will continue negotiations with Dana Point Harbor Partners without delay.  Next week's "final meeting" between the County and DPHP that we described in yesterday's newsletter is still on.

Whether or not this abrupt change to the County's real estate team will affect the (hopefully) imminent conclusion of the harbor development contract negotiations should be apparent in the coming days.  Stay tuned...

Every dollar we receive is directed to protecting and advancing the Dana Point Harbor boating community. What we do doesn't cost much, but it isn't free. Our community has proven dedicated and supportive over the years; now we offer a gift in return for your generosity.

All donations of $10 or more will receive a bumper sticker. Donations of $50 will receive a choice of a hat or burgee, plus a bumper sticker. Donations of $100 will receive a hat, burgee and two bumper stickers.  If you can spare $10, $25, $50 or $100 to the cause, it goes a long way to keeping us on track, please click here to donate!  Thank you.
