The Brotherhood/Sister Sol Year-End Appeal
What I Learned at Bro/Sis
Dear Friends,
Your generosity has helped The Brotherhood/Sister Sol (Bro/Sis) provide multi-layered support, guidance, education, and love to New York City youth. At Bro/Sis young people form self-discipline, gain opportunities and access, develop agency, and become critical thinkers and leaders.

Bro/Sis means so much to our members. It's a place were they feel safe and nurtured.  It's a place where they learn to express themselves emotionally and creatively. It's a place where they find pride and purpose. It's a place where they commit themselves to focus on their moral and ethical development. It's a place where they address the challenges of life and forge ahead with a new vision of their future.

We focus on issues such as leadership development and educational achievement, sexual responsibility, sexism and misogyny, political education and social justice, Pan-African and Latino history and global awareness. This is all infused in our evidence-based curriculum, designed to help our youth develop their minds, bodies and spirits in a healthy manner and evolve into strong able adults.

We hope that you will consider making an increased or renewed gift today so we can continue our critical and life-changing work.

Please take the time to visit our website at www.brotherhood-sistersol.org. There you can watch our alumnus made video "What I Learned at Bro/Sis" and hear our members describe what Bro/Sis has taught them.

Sincerely,
