Our general membership meeting for March is next week!


March General Meeting

Tuesday the 26th at 7pm

Come join your neighbors and hear from Congressman Mike Quigley who is our 5th district Representative in Washington, he'll discuss what he's been doing for the district since 2009 and what he'll be working on in the future

and

New 14th Police District (Shakespeare) Commander Frank Valadez will talk about some of his strategies for our area during the spring/summer and how we as a community can be safer.

Have a few drinks and meet your neighbors, we hope to see you there!

Burr Elementary Seeks Book Donations

Jonathan Burr Elementary will be having the 1st Annual Burr Used Book Sale on May 18-19 to benefit the school library and technology at Burr. Leading up to that event, they are collecting used books from community members. More information available here.

Friends of Holstein Park Easter Egg Hunt

When: Sat., Mar. 23rd, 10:30am - 12pm

Where: Senior Citizen Memorial Park, 2300 N. Oakley Ave.

Cost: $2 Suggested Donation

First hunt starts at 10:30 am. Second hunt starts at 11:00 am. Please bring your own basket to collect eggs.  Each child is limited to 12 eggs.
